Ingredients1 lbs reg. ground beef
1 onion, chopped finely chopped
3 Tbsp oil
1 ½ cups of canned cream style corn
1 Tbsp parsley
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
¼ tsp thyme
4 med size potatoes, mashed
Put the oil into a sauté pan placed over med heat. When the oil is heat, add the onions and cook for 3 min stirring constantly. Add the ground beef, the garlic, the thyme, and the parsley. Increase the heat to high and cook the mixture for 5 min. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the sauté pan from the stove. In a buttered baking dish, place a layer of meat, a layer of cream corn, and then another layer of meat. Top with the mashed potatoes. Place the Shepard’s Pie in the preheated 400 F oven for 20 min. Serve the Pie with tomato sauce
